- A W2 in my init string tells me what my connection speed is and MacTCP
- Monitor tells me how fast I am running at any given time. The speed of my
- transfers is something over which I have little or no control ie slow
- servers, etc. so knowing the answer can be worse than not knowing. If it

- The fax software is excellent and because I only have one modem connected
- to my computer, the fact that it is proprietary doesn't count against it
- ie the software works with the modem so what else do you want.
